The Royal Box provides the best seats in the house at Wimbledon for royalty, sports stars and celebrities and today was a particularly star-studded line-up.
Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and Sophie Countess of Wessex represented the royal family while numerous former tennis stars joined figures from the world of sport such as Sir Chris Hoy and golfer Rory McIlroy.
The world of showbiz was well represented too in the form of legendary actor Dame Maggie Smith, Strictly judge and former ballerina Darcey Bussell and US actors Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann.
Elsewhere, the Middletons were out in force as the Duchess of Cambridge's parents Michael and Carole, and her siblings Pippa and James descended on SW19.
However, despite landing seats in the Royal Box last week, the Middletons didn't secure much-coveted spots today to watch Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina take on Rafael Nadal of Spain.

The Queen's cousin, 82, is president of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, and presents the trophies to the Wimbledon champion and runner-up.

He was elected chairman of Wimbledon’s All England Club in 2011, and is a former captain of Cambridge University's tennis team.

The Duchess was the most senior member of the royal family to attend today and was seen chatting to Phillip Brook who sat to her right in the front row.

Camilla invited her younger sister Annabel, who is the chief interior designer of Prince Charles' Duchy of Cornwall estates to join her for an afternoon of tennis.
