FENTY x PUMA Avanti Pony Sneakers

If you’re looking for a statement shoe, you only need to head to Puma and the latest trainer to come out of its collaboration with Rihanna. In an unconventional move, the duo has given the upper of the Avanti an all-over hairy overlay, constructed from lux calf hair. The sneakers come in either all white or dappled with a white and brown animal print, both of which are adorned with Fenty branding and gum soles. There are only 2,000 pairs available worldwide.

Axel Arigato Satellite panelled mesh sneakers

Joining the collection of street style favourites, Satellite is the newest silhouette from Axel Arigato. It takes elements of its design from the hugely popular Marathon runner with a Y2K feel. There’s a juxtaposition of leather, mesh and overlays in a play of textures that give it a futuristic look. For comfort, there is the new AXLFoam at the sole to absorb shock and offer bounce back, while it’s fitted with rubber pebbles for grip.

New Balance WRPD Runner

New Balance

New Balance’s unique WRPD silhouette has two new colourways. The silhouette, defined by its fluid aesthetic and contoured fit, comes in hues of purple and green at the upper. The midsole is made up of the brand’s FuelCell technology, one of the many nods to the brand’s running portfolio.

That summer feeling in shoe form, Parisian fashion label Maje has unveiled its newest silhouette. The M Sneaker is a mix of leather, mesh, nylon, suede and nubuck with a design that takes inspiration from running trainers. It’s very much a fashion shoe, though, with its chunky sole and eye-popping rainbow colourway that has touches of yellow and purple. A more muted cream variation is available too for the minimalists as well as one with metallic finishes.

Milk Makeup x Reebok Club C 85 Vegan Sneakers

In an unexpected meeting of minds, vegan beauty brand Milk Makeup and Reebok have joined forces once again for the Equipment Essentials Collection [Series 02]. The first drop was released back in April 2023 and took inspiration from Milk Studios, a legendary creative spot in New York and LA.

The next collaboration reveals hard-working shoes and apparel that are minimalistic in their design. The collection is made up entirely of plant-based materials and includes four shoes: Milk Makeup BB 4000 II Mid Vegan Milk Makeup Club C 85 Vegan, Milk Makeup Classic Vegan, and Milk Makeup Club C Extra Vegan.

Converse x Feng Chen Wang 2-in-1

Converse

Feng Chen Wang turned the traditional Chuck 70 silhouette on its head over five years ago. The menswear designer deconstructed the shoe, creating a trompe l'oeil that accompanied her SS19 show. Back once again, she has now unveiled a low-cut iteration in collaboration with Converse, incorporating the layering technique that is spotted throughout Wang’s eponymous brand. The silhouette is in two with an exaggerated effect and a modified outsole.

It is handcrafted using Leather Working Group certified leather and has a juxtaposition of fabrics, setting mesh panelling with suede. The chunky sole, toe and tongue defines the trainer and you’ll find it in jade & white, light blue & navy, beige & grey and tonal grey.

The last in the MADE in USA collection from New Balance, this colourway marks the third drop and takes a tonal approach to its look. Rich Eart & Chive sees a green mesh bringing a pop of colour to an otherwise neutral deep brown suede shoe, while Sepia & Atlantic Blue is a touch more vibrant where rust orange is embellished with green and blue hues.

Dior B57 sneaker

Dior

Dior’s menswear designer Kim Jones has added another soon-to-be cult sneaker to his lauded collection. The new trainers have a retro feel, while showcasing the fashion house’s expert savoir-faire. The logo detailing is shown in a new way but embellished with the signature jacquard print in an ode to the eponymous founder.
